Dr. Ismat Jahan Lima is a highly accomplished and internationally recognized Colorectal and Laparoscopic Surgeon. She holds an MBBS degree and FCPS in Surgery, where she was awarded Gold Medal for her outstanding academic performance. She further specialized in Colorectal Surgery, earning MS degree, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) as well as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), England.

Currently, Dr. Lima serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College. With extensive expertise in minimally invasive Colorectal laparoscopic procedures, colorectal disorders, and pelvic floor surgery, she is dedicated to providing patient-centered care and advancing surgical practice through both clinical excellence and academic contributions.
