Dr. Akhter Ahmed (Shuvo) is a highly skilled and internationally trained Liver Transplant and Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgeon with extensive experience in complex surgical procedures. He holds an MBBS, BCS, FIBS, and FCPS in Surgery, as well as FACS (USA), reflecting his advanced surgical training and commitment to excellence. Dr. Shuvo further specialized with an MS in Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery and advanced training in Liver Transplantation in India.

Currently, he serves as the Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College.
