Dr. Khandaker Shehneela Tasmin (Sumi) is a highly qualified and accomplished specialist in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Fetomaternal Medicine with extensive academic and clinical expertise. She holds an MBBS degree, along with dual FCPS qualifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. In addition, she has earned international recognition as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS, USA) and completed advanced training with a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS, India). She also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH), which enhances her ability to integrate clinical excellence with public health perspectives.

Currently, Dr. Tasmin serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Gynae & Fetomaternal Medicine at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, where she is actively engaged in teaching, research, and specialized patient care.

Her professional focus includes the management of high-risk pregnancies, maternal and fetal complications, gynecological disorders, and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
