Dr. Sumya Pervin is a qualified Skin, Venereal Disease and Allergy Specialist with more than 15 years of clinical experience. Her professional career includes over 10 years of service in the Bangladesh Government Health Cadre and more than seven years of specialized experience in dermatology.
She completed her MBBS degree from Sir Salimullah Medical College (SSMC), followed by a postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology (DDV) from Bangladesh Medical University (BMU). She subsequently earned FCPS in Skin & VD from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). She has also received specialized training in Dermatosurgery, strengthening her expertise in advanced dermatological procedures.
Dr. Pervin entered the Bangladesh Government Health Cadre through the 33rd BCS. During her government service, she worked at different levels of the national healthcare system. She served for more than three years as a Medical Officer at the upazila level and for more than three years in the Department of Skin & VD at Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital. She subsequently served as a Junior Consultant in Skin & VD at the district level before being promoted to Assistant Professor of Skin & VD.
Currently, Dr. Sumya Pervin consults at Alliance Hospital Limited, where she provides comprehensive care for patients with skin, hair, nail, allergy and sexually transmitted conditions.
