Prof. Dr. Md. Mamunur Rahman is a highly accomplished and internationally trained surgeon with extensive expertise in gastrointestinal, colorectal, and general surgery. He holds an MBBS from Dhaka University and advanced surgical qualifications including FCPS (Surgery), MRCS (Edinburgh, UK), MMED (Singapore), and FACS (America).
Prof. Dr. Rahman is a Fellow in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS), reflecting his specialized training in advanced laparoscopic techniques. He currently serves as the Professor and Head of the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology at Sheikh Russel National Gastroliver Institute & Hospital. With a distinguished career in both clinical practice and academic leadership, he is recognized for his precision in complex gastrointestinal procedures and commitment to patient-centered care.
